History of the grandco sandals

Sandals it is one of the oldest kinds of shoes for people living in warm climates. The ancient sandals (about 10 thousand years ago) well preserved under a layer of volcanic ash found during excavations of caves in Fort Rock, Oregon. Sandals were also common among the ancient Babylonians, Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. The ancient Egyptians produced the shoes of straw, bark or papyrus.

The Romans called their sandals solea. Sandals designed in order to not bake the hot sand in your feet.

The grandco sandals have changes in the 20 years of the 19th century when this type of footwear has undergone major modifications.

Types of grandco sandals

Sandals are classified by types of soles and heels:

grandco sandals on a platform;
wedges grandco sandals;
grandco sandals with heels.

Antique style fashion around the time attracted the fashionistas of the world and today it is no less relevant and elegant wardrobe for everyday.

For hot seasons grandco sandals are the perfect addition for the beach dresses and sarafans. The only requirement for them is a relatively austere style, without all flounces, monochromatic colors and lack of sleeves.

Grandco sandals should wear with clothes preferably in the same style or at least imitate the ancient form. First of all kinds that tunic, it is no coincidence that the name came to us from ancient times and best characterizes the Greek style. Shortened summer tunics, flowing free waves perfectly combined with wicker sandals.
