Mexico City has an almost magnetic draw for tourists, reeling them in with its promises of sightseeing treasures and activities. The capital city of Mexico, Mexico City is one of the largest and the oldest metropolis in the world. It dates back to the 1300s and the Aztecs. The ruins of the Aztec capital, Tenochtitlan, now include cathedrals and palaces.

Despite a reputation for overcrowding and all of the conditions that result from it, Mexico City is a delightful place to sightsee with numerous opportunities to explore ancient ruins, gaze upon magnificent artwork, visit religious structures and examples of authentic Spanish Colonial architecture, and check out the nearby volcanoes of Teotihuacбn and Tula. Air pollution in this city is probably at its worst between the months of November and February.
